Pastor Adam Brinkley
Welcome to Glendale Heights United Methodist Church. You are among family and friends. We are a multi-cultural congregation that strives to serve Jesus Christ, our community and the world. We are excited with what God has accomplished in the past life of this congregation and we look forward with great expectations to how the Lord will unfold our future.
Our mission statement affirms our purpose is to Share, Care, Proclaim: Glendale Heights United Methodist Church is a community of faith in God through Jesus Christ who shares through witness and study, cares through service and outreach and who proclaims through worship and discipleship. We pray to be the church God calls us to be.
I love the words of Richard Avery’s and Donald Marsh’s hymn, “We Are the Church” which state “The church is not a building, the church is not the steeple, the church is not a resting place, the church is a people. I am the church! You are the church! We are the church together! All who follow Jesus, all around the world! Yes, we’re the church together!”
This website offers glimpses of the dynamic ministries that are a part of this church’s witness to the community. It is a reminder to all of us that we are who we are because God has brought us together.
